Grates |

Hopper magnets are designed to
remove ferrous metal and tramp iron from free-flowing materials such
as plastics, foods, cosmetics, grains and minerals. High density
permanent magnetic tubes are arranged to draw iron particles into
the magnetic field and hold them there as material flows through the
grate. The grate is removed from the hopper occasionally to be wiped
or blown off and then replaced in the hopper to begin collecting
again. |

The round and rectangular models are available in various sizes to
best suit your needs. Round models from 8" to 25" diameter,
and rectangular models from 4" to 18" . Constructed of
stainless steel with one-inch diameter magnetic tubes spaced two
inches from center line to center line for greatest magnetic
efficiency. Tubes are typically filled with Ceramic magnetic material,
but are also available with Alnico or Rare Earth (Neodymium) magnets.
Deflectors are placed to direct product flow across the strongest
magnetic area. Tubes with or without non-magnetic deflectors are
mounted on a rigid frame.
